If you want a hip, cool place, Bickford's is not for you. This is a small chain that feels like Friendly's or Denny's. However, their menu is much wider in scope than Friendly's or Denny's. They have a salad bar, unlike Friendly's and Denny's. On any given day, there's just a lot more stuff to choose from. More like a high quality diner. My wife and I been eating here on occasion for about 10 years. And I've never once gotten a dish that wasn't excellent. Little things, too... their coffee is good... their toast is hearty, and the slices thick. It's surprising to me they aren't more appreciated and successful... maybe lack of capital for advertising. Service ranges from good to very good. But we like Bickford's of Enfield, and have only had very positive experiences - and very good food here.

Food is very good - buffet selections are always stocked well and definitely worth the price. Staff is friendly and there is almost never a wait for seating.
I'm not sure what's missing in this restaurant - maybe it needs redecorating. The place just seems a little 'old' and not in a good way.

It was O.K. - average food - average service - Buffet Breakfast is very poor - not worth the money - reasonably priced - lots of seating - never have to wait to be seated
